Ten years have passed and Magaly Medina is still the the undisputed queen of entertainment journalism in Peru, through a formula which brought luster to the quirky characters, bizarre and sometimes unknown to the world of television in the Andean country, which ironically was christened as "Chollywood".
During it's passage television, Medina has become notorious for it's baptized "ampays" ( Quechua word that refers to catch someone red-handed ) to football players, actors, who drew the foot of the plateau by repeatedly making fun of theater Peruvian and criticize his nemesis, the queen television, Gisela Varcárcel.
In 2008, it seemed that his star is fading: the rating figures began to drop precipitously and the Magpie was found in a dead end.
Then came the televised announcement of the television host and former showgirl Tula Rodriguez, from her first pregnancy with the television manager Javier Carmona, who was still the husband of Gisela Valcárcel.
In a rapid-fire monologue Tula Rodriguez said he did "Click" with Carmona during a party that made the television, "Never mess with married man" and that although " my doctor said I could not be a mom with Javier and you know what?. I will be Mom"
Immediately, the cameras sought to Gisela Valcárcel, who expressed his goog wishes to the couple and asked her husband still married to the former star, to give a home to the new child. These facts made the delight of conservative newspapers like El Comercio, La Republica newspaper front pages and were like Peru 21 and Ojo.
